During one of our breaks the CEO pulled up to the lot and called for one of us to help him. I was closest and of course volunteered. (note: always volunteer to give your new CEO a helping hand). What he had for me was a 15th century Latin hymnal. Its made from the skin of lamb vagina, and is completely unique. There used to be 20, but only one remains after the crusades. He showed us the unique art within, and it was truly an experience. He then went on to give us a 40 minute speech on his religious philosophy. I'm not opposed to it at all, just very surprised, but its nice to know that you can work someone with an open mind. He believes in destiny, that everything happens for a reason, and that you must do good unto others. Very basic, but something we share. Like me he holds the left-brain/right-brain mentality. Before dealing art, he was a NASA rocket scientist. It just feels right, you know, and it makes me feel right.
Still, though, very soon I will be saying good-bye to the friends I've made here. Oceania calls me like a siren, to a home distant and unseen, beyond the ends of the Earth
Offices are Nightmares. They are only egos...everywhere.
